Link to new website

Ok, so my M is officially the cheapest out there.  Because her free Google storage for pictures is full and she doesn't want to pay $2.50/month for the rest of her life, she decided to go ahead and link to a new website and continue posting all our adventures there.  Just click on the link below and you will continue all our adventures.  The only difference in website address in a 1 at the end.

See you on the other side!

Life through Carrie's eyes

CA trip through C's eyes:
Big bright eyes to start the trip off right!
Either C has a toe fetish or that's just the view she is best at, since most of her pictures not included in this post were of the sidewalk and people's feet!

Cute toes in the car!
The dolphin show!

In the corner of the picture are the dolphins jumping!
This look was given to C quite often during the dolphin show as she couldn't quite sit still nor keep her feet from kicking!  The girl in front was not happy, as you can easily see from her glaring eyes.
One of the interactive planes on the U.S.S Midway.
Another shoe picture!!
Minnie Mouse saying Hi to all her friends.
Mickey's bow tie!
Dancing princesses.
More dancing parade entries!
One of the floats in the Disney parade.
D and B's feet as they wait for Disney to open the second day!
C's favorite part of the trip was the Winnie-the-Pooh and the Monster's Inc rides, both of which she went on with D while M went with B on the "big" water rides!

In Brileigh's eyes

CA trip from Brileigh's view:
When M went to the store to get us new games for our long car ride, she found little cameras instead.  What a great idea she thought.  Let B and C film their own fun!!
She pulled them out in the car the first day and made the first picture be of me.  The rest were taken by me.  (needless to say these are the best ones--the ones you can actually tell what the intended subject was meant to be!!)
The navigator most of the long car rides, although M drove everywhere in CA.  M&D have a great relationship.  M loves to sleep on long car rides, while D gets antsy in the passenger's seat, but hates to drive in cities.  So D takes all the long day car rides and M drove all the short city drives!

Since I was missing 4 days of school, M made me practice my letters.
Cousin L the morning we left their house.
Cousin L--thanks for letting us stay with you!
At SeaWorld I had lots of opportunity to take pictures.

I even let E borrow my camera to take a picture of me!

E and his dad went on one of the many rides at SeaWorld, while we watched from the bench.

My self-portrait is reflected in D's sunglasses!
I let M take a picture of me enjoying the pool at E's house.

The chapel's stain glass window on the U.S.S Midway.
One of the planes on the aircraft carrier.
C trying out the seatbelt in the helicopter on board U.S.S Midway.
M took a picture of me in the radio room.
M also upon my request took a picture of me on the beach.
The pile of pillows and blankets on the couch.
Minnie Mouse was giving out lots of hugs!
I even got to hug Mickey.
The view from the Disneyland train pulling into the station.
We had pretty good seats at the Disney parade.
Dancing princesses.

Mary Poppins even rode her horse by.
I had a great time on our crazy trip.  My favorite part of the trip was staying with E and going to Disneyland!

CA Trip Day 10

Sunday: Day 10 of our family trip
We woke up early to eat breakfast  before we headed out for the last leg of our trip.
The car we rented needed to be back at 1 pm, so we had 5 hours to go a few hundred miles.

M had never been to western Colorado, so she was very impressed with the landscape.  One of the highlights was the hot air balloons enjoying the morning views.

The other highlight was the big tunnel.  However, C was asleep and M was also taking a nap and mostly missed it.
We got home shortly before noon, so had time to unpack and clean the car out before it had to be back.  Rental companies are prompt--M was listening to Sirius when she stopped to fill up and 2 minutes later it was shut off in preparation for our car due to be returned.
Even though it was a wonderful trip, it was nice to be home and back to our own toys and beds.  M is already planning the next trip--FL in 6 years when both of us are old enough to go on all rides and actually remember the whole trip!

CA Trip Day 9

Saturday: Day 9 of our crazy CA trip
We started the day by watching a little TV while M went down to work-out in anticipation of a long car ride.  D took us down to breakfast once the show was over.  We then went swimming until we had to check-out.
The next eight hours were spent driving through Nevada, Utah and western Colorado.  What beautiful country we live in!

When we reached Grand Junction we checked in and M went out to find supper while D got checked in and settled.    After a supper bought at the local grocery store and heated up in the hotel microwave, we went swimming. They had been a high school bike race or something, so there were lots of teens in the swimming pool.  So when C got too cold we headed back up to the room for bed.
